MEET YOUR PACK LEADERS

Chantelle quigley-dimeo
Owner - Founder

Chantelle started Mutt Butts in February 2018 after many years of working in the legal and real estate sectors and volunteering in animal rescue settings. Throughout her time in the legal field, she was heavily involved in several southern dog rescue groups, fostering, transporting and leading successful fundraisers helping medically special needs dogs.

Chantelle’s love of working with animals, combined with her client management and community interaction skills, helped her form the necessary foundation for Mutt Butts of RI. Now in its eighth year, and with the help of her extraordinary staff, Mutt Butts has become one of the leading pet care companies in Rhode Island.

When she isn’t with her furry friends, she can be found thrifting along New England, tinkering on her ‘69 Firebird or enjoying quality time at home with her pack of three.

Chantelle focuses throughout Rhode Island and per diem in Connecticut and Ellis County, Texas.

madeline ingraham
manager - head pack leader

Madeline joined forces with Mutt Butts in early 2021 and brings with her the passion for working with companion animals each day! Not only does she enjoy her time with the animals, but she takes seriously the responsibility entrusted to her in caring for all her waggy and purring friends. She specializes with animals who need a little extra time, care and special needs. She also brings a passion for all things animals, including the new "Mad Bee Barkery & Boutique" which focuses on confections for your furry pals and grooming needs.

When she is not hanging onto several leashes, you can find her with her own fluffy girl, Pixie, and her husband, Erik, and his dog Kojii, at their art studio in West Warwick.

Madeline focuses primarily in Providence and Kent County.

joann d’aurio
pack leader

Joann started with the Mutt Butts team in 2018, wanting to spend more time with dogs and working in the local community.  Also a small business owner in the area (JoJo’s Cupcakes), JoAnn brought a great sense of community development and client interaction skills to the other members of the team.  The dogs quickly became the highlight of her day and she quickly learned handling skills for some of our more anxious and special needs dogs.  When C19 began, JoAnn took time off to focus on another project and to keep expanding her amazing confections.  Now she is back and happier than ever to be working with some amazing animals!

When she isn’t hanging with some furry pals, JoAnn spends a lot of her time volunteering with local senior dog rescues and her favorite passion, baking!

JoAnn focuses primarily in Kent County.

rob stubbs
pack leader

Rob joined the Mutt Butt’s family in July of 2024 after a decade working as a local firefighter and EMT.  Always an animal lover at heart, Rob had many dogs in his life growing up.  He was able to reap many benefits of learning multiple dog skills from his mother who is a lifelong experienced dog trainer.  Having a lifelong bond with dogs, Rob knew that working as a pack leader would be an excellent fit for his life.

When he isn’t out behind a handful of leashes, Rob can usually be found hanging out with his wife and three dogs, usually treating them to one on one car rides and snacks when they get home!

Rob primarily focuses in the Providence and Kent County areas.

LAVERNE MENDEZ
pack leader

Laverne joined the Mutt Butts team in early June 2025 after working in the healthcare sector for two decades. Always an animal lover, she helped her own dog bring a litter of beautiful pups into the world, keeping two of them as her dog family grew.  A native Rhode Islander, she has always loved being outdoors with her dogs and exploring new areas and adventures with them. She knows that the love of a dog is unconditional and that is the same love she gives them back.

When she is not meeting new dog friends, she can be found caring for her parents, her dogs and grand pups, and taking adventure days with her daughter.

Laverne focuses in Providence and Kent County areas.

EDWIN DIAZ
pack leader

BIO COMING SOON.

LEAH MOORE
pack SITTER

Leah joined the Mutt Butts team in July 2025 with a passion for combining her primary job with her love of spending time with animals.  Her passion for animal care spans all the way back to her childhood where she was constantly reading about dog breeds and watching every movie that featured furry friends (Snow Dogs was a favorite!)  As a teenager, Leah began her hands on work with dogs as a sitter and has been caring for animals ever since.  With years as a dog daycare attendant and her current remote pharmacy position, she is able to provide round the clock love and attention to all your companion pals.  She brings a strong understanding of breeds and temperaments and how to handle all the quirks that come with each unique personality.

When she isnt sitting and snuggling with yours, she can be found with her own two dogs, Fozzie and Godzilla, and a hairless cat named Rizzo, exploring with her boyfriend and finding her next favorite book or thrifted trinket.

Leah focuses primarily in Providence and Kent Counties.

erik ingraham
per diem pack leader

Erik became a member of the Mutt Butts team not long after his wife, Madeline (manager), joined us.  While working in a per diem capacity with the team, he has created amazing relationships with many of the dogs, especially the senior ones.  Erik helps with many of our local events as a crafter and wood worker (among many other talents).

When not helping with some of the pups, he can be found creating amazingly crafted projects, working at his mill space, or spending time with Mads and their dogs, Pixie and Kojii.

Erik focuses primarily in Kent County.

MERCEDES FOSTER
per diem pack SITTER

Mercedes joined up with Mutt Butts in late June 2024.  Working as a rescue transport coordinator along the east coast primarily focusing on Norwegian Elkhound and German Shepherd rescue, she met Chantelle and Madeline who (along with a team of others) assisted in a massive rescue effort for a pack of pups from West Virginia to Maine. The rest is history!

When she is not fueled by working in the medial field, she tends to her many small farm animals and pack of dogs and enjoys horticulture activities and thrifting.

She hails from southern Maine and enjoys working in a per diem capacity as a pet sitter with Mutt Butts.

liz tinnel
pack leader

Liz, a southeastern Connecticut native, is focused and dedicated to animal care.  Before coming to Mutt Butts in December 2021, she spent several years working in the childcare sector.  She has shifted her focus to working with animals, bringing with her the same love and care.  Mutt Butts has been the perfect place for her to apply her knowledge and passion of nurturing.  She is always eager to meet the needs of any pet, and young or old, she will be there.

When Liz isnt caring for one of your furry pals, she is tending to the needs of her many plants or getting lost in her writing and enjoying time with her cats.

Liz focuses primarily between Montville and Lisbon, CT.
